The story behind Three Evergreen Branches
Three evergreen sprigs rest against pale, weathered wood. Their differences become the subject: fine needles, flattened sprays, varied greens, and the distinct way each branch holds its shape. The light background gives these small details room to be seen. This photograph is a quiet study of variation within something we might otherwise name with a single word: evergreen.
