The story behind A Record of Seasons
At first, the surface reads as warm color and texture. Then the rings emerge, circling through the wood until a long crack interrupts their rhythm. This close view turns a cut tree into a landscape of its own, with ridges, boundaries, and dark edges. What once expanded outward slowly can now be followed by the eye in a single, quiet moment.
